  • Gold- Markings include (Kt = Karat)

  • Gold marked with RGP or HGE means that the gold content is so low that it has almost no value. Because of the minimal return value we do not accept either one of these types of gold.
  • Current U.S. laws require all gold, silver, and platinum to be marked as such, if it is unmarked, it is probably not real.
  • Some items may look gold, when in fact they are sterling silver and marked with a .925 marking. This is because these items have been dusted with a Vermeil overlay making the silver look gold, be aware of this when you are looking at your gold items.
